the colour lila is complex and symbolises the mysterious and mystical, contemplation and deep calm, as well as royal opulence, power and extravagance.
the word ‘lux’ comes from the Latin word for light. lux is a unit of illuminance used to measure the intensity of illumination on a particular surface.
